Group Classes

We offer five different group training classes designed for runners of all experience levels — each targeting key elements like aerobic development, threshold work, and anaerobic strength.

Unlike traditional group fitness, we’ve created a space where you can experience the motivation of running alongside others without the pressure of keeping up. Every workout is effort-based, allowing you to train at the right intensity for your body and goals.

You’ll get the benefits of personalized coaching with the energy of a team — improving form, pacing, and endurance while building confidence and consistency.

Duration: 60 minutes

How to Book: Purchase Your Class, or Class Packages and then View our Class Schedule and reserve your spot.

CLASSES
  • • Intermediate, Advanced (Anaerobic)

Runners partake in a "fartlek." The word fartlek originates from Sweden meaning "speed play." There is no set pace, and the instructor will periodically increase the speed over inclined hills to help maximize the physical and mental capabilities with proper running form.

  • • Intermediate, Advanced (Aerobic + Threshold)

Strength training class incorporating weights, bands, and other equipment along with some incline running to help improve muscle strength, prevent injuries, and enhance running form.

  • • Intermediate, Advanced (Threshold)

Endurance training class while learning to pace yourself in order to accomplish a negative split (pick up pace). The goal is to be able to complete the second half of your run faster than your first half, simulating a race day strategy.

  • • Novice, Intermediate, Advanced (Aerobic)

Run/Jog/Walk. Great introductory class to help find your comfortable pace and proper form. Intermediate and advanced can focus on proper form and breathing.

  • • Novice, Intermediate, Advanced (Aerobic + Threshold + Anaerobic)

This class consists of a Run/Walk or Run/Jog workout.

The intervals are run for a specific amount of time, specific distances, at specific paces, and with specific recovery periods. Overall, this helps the runner boost cardiovascular fitness.

Booking & Guidelines

To ensure the best experience for all athletes, training classes must be booked at least 8 hours in advance. This policy helps our coaches prepare for each session and maintain the quality of training we’re proud to offer at GRIT Running Center.

To ensure a safe and respectful training environment for all, we kindly ask that all athletes attending classes wear proper footwear (running shoes) and appropriate athletic attire, including both a top and bottom, for the entire duration of each training session. Earphones or headphones are not allowed. We also recommend bringing your preferred form of hydration to stay fueled throughout the class.

Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to fostering a positive training experience for everyone.
